We found this really cool place in Barrio Laureles called Point. It is like a modern day arcade with new 2010 LED flat screen TVs, big cushy sofas, and tons of games on Wii, Xbox, and PS3. It was so cool we had to make a little video of it.

Medellin Medellin mayor opens metro-cable extension
Medellin mayor Alonzo Salazar on Tuesday officially opened the new metro-cable line L from the Santo Domingo neighborhood, over the mountain, to Arvi Park.
Medellín is the city in which I was born and raised. It is located in the Andean zone of the country and is the capital of the state of Antioquia. Medellin is one of Colombia’s most important and influential cities because of its beauty, population and economy.
August 1-10, 2009 - An Event not to be missed in Medellin, Colombia La Feria de las Flores (Medellin Flower Fesitval). The entire City of Medellin bursts into flames of color and sweet smell of flowers during the Flower Festival.
Medellin has a range of hotels catering towards every budget. The best hotels (and restaurants - see later for restaurant advice) are in the Poblado district, a leafy and safe suburb with Medellin's best nightlife and restaurants nearby.
Santa Fe de Antioquia is 90 minutes drive from Medellin. This Paisa town is of lower elevation than Medellin, and slightly more tropical in climate. Santa Fe is the regions oldest settlement, and one of the best preserved. It was capital of Antioquia until 1826, when the capital moved to Medellin.
In year 2010 the city will be the hostess for the 19 ACORBAT International Meeting which gathers representatives of banana corporations from 31 countries; and in year 2012 the city will be the hostess of the 19 FILAP Meeting (Latin American- Iberian Plastic, Esthetic and Reconstructive Surgery).
